Disneyland Paris Dining Options

Disneyland Paris offers Meal Plans (Breakfast, Half Board, Full Board) that can save money for resort guests. Character dining includes Plaza Gardens (Mickey & friends buffet, €50-80), Auberge de Cendrillon (Disney Princesses, €60-100) and two Disneyland Hotel exclusives. Top non-character restaurants are Agrabah Café (Moroccan buffet, €45), Downtown Restaurant (American buffet, €45) and Bistrot Chez Remy (French table service, €45).

If there’s something better than waking up at 6am to ride Crush’s Coaster, it’s waking up at 6 a.m. to eat chocolate waffles and éclairs before riding Crush’s Coaster. Theme parks are awesome, sure, but if I have to choose between riding something like Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain or sitting in an air-conditioned spot eating waffles with Minnie and friends, I’ll probably pick the second option.

This guide, as the name suggests, is all about dining at Disneyland Paris. We’ll cover Disney Meal Plans that might save you money, the best restaurants in the resort, and some fun character dining experiences to help you bring home extra-special memories from France.

Before we move on, remember that you can always contact us with any questions about Disneyland Paris, from rides to hotels, park strategies, and more. Contacting us is free, and better yet, booking through us does not cost you a dime extra. You might even save money thanks to special deals available to our travel agents. We also have experts from Europe who are Disneyland Paris aficionados and can give you excellent tips about the parks, including their top favorite rides.

Disneyland Paris Meal Plans

If you’re staying at a Disneyland Paris resort, you can save money by purchasing what Disney calls a “Meal Plan.” These plans give you a set number of meals per person, per day, at your hotel or in the parks, and work just like a voucher you scan at the restaurant.

One example is the Breakfast Buffet package. Our travel advisor Julie recently stayed at Hotel Santa Fe and added the breakfast buffet for each day ($25/day, all you care to enjoy), which is a pretty fair price considering it’s not that easy to find breakfast in the parks… oh, and you also get unlimited chocolate croissants!

Here are the Meals Plans at Disneyland Paris. Meal Plans give you Meal Plan Vouchers that are based on the number of days/guests.

  • Breakfast Only: Enjoy an all-you-can-eat breakfast served at your Disney Hotel, including drinks (at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch, breakfast is served in a take-away breakfast basket).
  • Half Board: Enjoy breakfast at your Disney Hotel, then lunch OR dinner in the restaurant of your choice (eligible restaurants included in your Meal Plan).
  • Full Board: Includes three meals each day, which you can use for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

If you choose a Half Board or Full Board Meal Plan, you can then pick between Standard, Plus, Extra Plus (Full Board only), or Premium, depending on your Disney Hotel. Yes, it’s a bit more complicated than it needs to be, and that’s why Famvia is here to help. For example, the Premium plan is only available at the Disneyland Hotel and gives you the widest selection of restaurants, including Disney Character Dining. For full details on each plan, check the official website.

Character Dining at Disneyland Paris

Have you ever heard of character dining? Well, of course you have… we just listed it as the title of this section! Character dining means enjoying a meal right next to Disney characters, whether it’s Mickey and friends or even a Disney Princess. These restaurants are some of the most popular family experiences, so be sure to book well in advance.

There are four character dining options at Disneyland Paris:

  • Plaza Gardens
  • Auberge de Cendrillon
  • La Table de Lumiere
  • The Royal Banquet

Let’s explore them in detail. When we list prices for children, note that they apply to kids ages 3–11. Children under 3 eat for free.

Plaza Gardens

  • Type: Buffet; breakfast & dinner; located at Parc Disneyland; classic Disney characters.

Plaza Gardens is one of the most popular character dining spots, and for good reason. Actually, two reasons: it’s located inside Parc Disneyland, and it features Mickey, Minnie, and the whole gang (plus friends like Winnie the Pooh, Pinocchio, and even the Genie). The food is pretty good, and better than many other restaurants in the park, and the prices are fairly reasonable as well. Breakfast costs €50 for adults (€40 for children), while dinner is €80 for adults and €40 for children.

Auberge de Cendrillon

  • Type: table service; breakfast, lunch and dinner; located at Parc Disneyland; Disney Princesses.

Another character dining spot inside Parc Disneyland, this one is even fancier than Plaza Gardens. Auberge de Cendrillon is a French restaurant in Fantasyland, where Cinderella and her friends welcome you into a royal, storybook atmosphere. Breakfast costs €60 for adults (€40 for children), while lunch and dinner are €100 for adults and €50 for children. Characters you might meet include Cinderella, Belle, Jasmine, Mulan, and even Minnie dressed as a princess.

La Table de Lumiere

  • Type: table service; dinner; located at Disneyland Hotel; Disney Princesses and Princes.

Wait, did I say Auberge de Cendrillon was fancy? I guess La Table de Lumière takes it up a notch. This restaurant is currently only available to guests staying at the Disneyland Hotel, which is a bit of a bummer, but the atmosphere is amazing. Each sitting lets you meet three royal couples, from Belle and her prince to Ariel and her prince, and Aurora and her prince. Yeah, I failed the Name-your-Disney-Prince class at school. La Table de Lumière focuses on French cuisine, offering a fixed-price meal with a starter, main course, and buffet. It costs €120 for adults (€60 for children).

The Royal Banquet

  • Type: buffet; lunch & dinner; located at Disneyland Hotel; Mickey & friends.

The Royal Banquet is a classic buffet for those who want to eat a lot and take photos with Mickey, Minnie, and up to two of their friends. The food ranges from salads and pasta to grilled meats and seafood. Is it amazing? Not really, but it’s not terrible either. You’re here for the food and the characters. You’ll always meet Mickey and Minnie, plus Goofy and Pluto, or Donald and Daisy. It costs €100 for adults (€50 for children).

What is the best Character Dining restaurant at Disneyland Paris?

That’s a subjective question and will vary from guest to guest. We’d go with Auberge de Cendrillon, as it offers an amazing meet-and-greet experience with Disney princesses, great food, and a convenient location for most guests. Our second choice would be Plaza Gardens, especially for a nice breakfast.

The Best Restaurants at Disneyland Paris

So, you don’t know much about Disneyland Paris, and your main question is: “Okay, cool guide friend, but what are the best restaurants at Disneyland Paris?” Sometimes a guide can actually be summed up in just a few words when we list the top options for you and your family. So, let’s dive into the five best restaurants at Disneyland Paris.

Our top five choices would be (not considering character dining):

  • Toad Hall
  • Casa de Coco
  • Bistriot Chez Remy
  • Downtown Restaurant
  • Agrabah Café

5 - Toad Hall

  • Type: quick-service; located at Parc Disneyland.

Toad Hall is a counter-service restaurant for those who want to save money, grab a quick meal, and keep moving. The main dish here is fish & chips, often considered one of the best food items at Disneyland Paris. Be sure to order the double portion (two pieces of fish instead of one), since it costs only a couple of euros more and provides almost enough food for two guests.

4 - Casa de Coco

  • Type: quick-service; located at Parc Disneyland.

A cantina-style, quick-service restaurant and bar themed around the Pixar movie Coco, Casa de Coco focuses on Mexican food, with favorites ranging from burritos and empanadas to churros. Prices are around €15, with combos available for €22. This is definitely a good quick-service option if you want a fast meal without spending too much.

3 - Bistriot Chez Remy

  • Type: table service; located at Walt Disney Studios Park.

A sit-down restaurant with a fun atmosphere that kids will love, this table-service spot is located in Walt Disney Studios Park. Prices are €45 for adults (€30 for children) and include a starter and a main course, with dessert available for an extra €10. Main courses include classic grilled steak with fries, linguine with tomato sauce, and roast chicken. The dishes aren’t fancy, but the quality is above average.

2 - Downtown Restaurant

  • Type: buffet; dinner; located at Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel.

Downtown Restaurant at Disneyland Paris is one of the best buffets around and comes at a pretty good price. It costs €45 for adults and €25 for kids. You can find American favorites here, ranging from burgers and pizza to mac and cheese, pasta, and a wide variety of desserts. If you want to eat a lot (and well) at Disneyland Paris and aren’t too concerned about character dining, Downtown Restaurant is an excellent choice.

1 - Agrabah Café

  • Type: buffet; lunch, located at Parc Disneyland.

Agrabah Café might be the best restaurant at Disneyland Paris, period. It offers a unique Moroccan setting that feels more like a gift shop than a restaurant, excellent food, and great prices. If you love Middle Eastern cuisine, you’ll have an even better time here. This is also a more peaceful place to sit and eat compared to most Disneyland restaurants, and sometimes you can even walk in without a reservation. Prices are €45 for adults and €25 for kids.
