The name does not lie. This cruise line is indeed all about margaritas and giving you a place to sleep while you cruise the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Margaritaville at Sea focuses on two main things. Keeping cruise costs low and giving you a fun place to celebrate life with friends.

In that regard, they fulfill their mission beautifully. Margaritaville operates three ships, with the newest, Beachcomber, launching in 2026. They offer the industry’s most affordable Caribbean cruises starting at just one hundred and sixty dollars for two night Bahamas sailings, with some special deals as low as one hundred dollars. Can you imagine paying that little for a cruise and being able to visit some of the best and most beautiful beaches in the world.

Margaritaville is like Carnival Cruise Line, but on a smaller scale. This cruise line sails exclusively in the Caribbean departing from Florida, with Paradise sailing from Palm Beach and Islander sailing from Tampa Bay. Destinations include Grand Bahama Island, Nassau, Key West, Cozumel, Jamaica and Curaçao. The atmosphere onboard is all about having fun. Loud music plays everywhere, people are always smiling and eating and just celebrating life. This is a cruise line that attracts many young adults, college students and people who simply want to have fun.

Each ship features three swimming pools, small waterslides, live shows, game shows, karaoke, bingo and casinos. Sail away parties, DJ sessions and White Hot Neon Nights help break the ice and get you into the party vibe. Do not expect any big Broadway shows, roller coasters, huge waterparks or anything like that. These are ships that exist mostly to bring your group of friends together while keeping guests with a similar mindset close and sending everyone to a Caribbean beach with a margarita in hand.

Dining onboard is considered good, even though cruises are not expensive at all. The complimentary main dining room, buffet and snack bars receive great reviews, with many guests praising Margaritaville pizza as the best across all mainstream cruise lines and sometimes even better than MSC. If you can pay as little as one hundred dollars for a cruise and get access to free good pizza, I would say the ship could stay in port all day and it would still be worth it.

Base fares include your room, main dining room, drip coffee, juices, filtered water, tea, live shows, fitness centers and the Kids Club. Gratuities, specialty restaurants, Wi-Fi, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, specialty coffee, shore excursions and spa treatments cost extra. Still, you are saving so much on your base cruise fare that you should keep a few extra dollars for drinks and some added perks.

Margaritaville at Sea is for those who do not want to spend a lot and want to party and celebrate with friends and family above all else. Most of the time, the cruise ship is just a bonus. There are many teenagers onboard, young adults and people who want to dance to Taylor Swift all day.
