Sandals Barbados is an all-inclusive, adults-only resort that launched in 2015, located just 15 minutes from Grantley Adams International Airport. Royal Barbados features Barbados’ first rooftop bar and pool, plus a bowling alley and the Lovers Lane Craft Beer Bar (open until 2am with over 20 beers, all included!). You have access to an impressive range of restaurants, from Indian cuisine at Bombay Club to French at La Parisienne, two steakhouses, teppanyaki at Kimonos, and much more.

Sandals Barbados offers three room types: Luxury Rooms (the budget option), Club Level Rooms with private check-in and upgraded mini-bars and Butler Elite Suites with personal butler service. Sandals Barbados also has slightly older rooms compared to its younger, fancy brother, but you could definitely choose to stay in the more affordable rooms and still enjoy everything else Royal Barbados has to offer.

The swimming pools are top notch but the beach is fairly average. The water can be rough with occasional seaweed, and since it is a public beach, you’ll encounter vendors selling a bunch of stuff. Other than the beach and pools, you have access to the fitness center and water activities typical of Sandals, like snorkeling, kayaking and so on. Motorized water sports aren’t available due to Barbados regulations on public beaches.

Sandals Barbados is a great option for an adults-only vacation.
