Sandals Saint Vincent Resort

Buccament, St. Vincent

Brand new, beautiful and romantic. Sandals doesn't get much better than this.

Do you want a new, modern, amazing Sandals? Then you might as well skip this section and let us book your next vacation at Saint Vincent. You will love it, we promise. After all, Sandals Saint Vincent opened in March 2024 as the brand’s first-ever resort in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Everything here is fresh and new, from the rooms to the restaurants, which means you'll find the latest technology and design touches throughout the whole property.

You can notice how unique Saint Vincent is from the moment you get to the resort. The resort itself sits in a gorgeous valley between three mountains, creating a dramatic backdrop that sets it apart from all other Sandals properties. The mountain setting, trees and gardens make this one of the most beautiful Sandals resorts you'll find.

Saint Vincent also introduces several new features to the Sandals brand. There are beachfront Butler Villas that offer direct beach access with private pools, and even some rooms with private gym areas so you can stay in shape. Free bikes are scattered throughout the property so you can easily move around… or, in my case, finally learn how to bike. I’m ashamed, I know. Guests that stay in Butler Suites can even choose to get to the resort on a catamaran, so you can arrive in style with someone on deck ready to welcome you to your room.

The resort offers 11 restaurants, including classics like The Jerk Shack and Butch's Island Chop House, plus new options such as Buccan for local cuisine and Scrimshaw for seafood. Food is considered quite good, and 11 different dining options is actually a lot for a single resort.

The beach is also good, even if it’s not the biggest one among Sandals. There is, however, a charming cove that gives the beach a ton of privacy. Here’s an interesting detail: since Saint Vincent is volcanic with naturally black sand, Sandals imported white sand to create their own beach.

The pools are excellent, with four freshwater options including a nearly 300-foot main pool that rarely feels crowded. Some Butler Elite Suites include private pools as well for those that want to take a swim in complete privacy while surrounded by mountains and the beach. If that sounds amazing, it’s because it probably is.

Staff consistently receives high praise for being super friendly and some of the best across all Sandals. Sandals hired locals and provided at least a year of training to them, and it shows. They are polite, super nice and always welcome you with a smile. You might also spot friendly dogs lounging around the property. I mean, if this resort has dogs walking around, then that’s another point in favor of Saint Vincent.

Sandals Saint Vincent is awesome, and another evolution of Sandals 2.0. It’s romantic, it’s in a brand-new setting and features amazing gardens and pools. If you want to check out a beautiful island and the best that Sandals has to offer, then you have just found your next destination. Check out our guides, start packing and have fun!
