Sensitive Information

Payment Data. We may collect and process data necessary to complete your transactions, such as your payment instrument number and associated security code. We collect and process this information on your behalf but do not retain it after the transaction is completed. Social Media Login Data. If you choose to register or log in using a third-party social media account (such as Google), we will collect certain profile information as described in Section 5.

All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes.

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This does not reveal your specific identity but may include device and usage information such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, and information about how and when you use our Services. Data Storage and Protection

Google user data that we store (your name, email, and profile picture) is held in our systems with the same security measures applied to all personal information we collect. We implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect this data. See Section 7 for details on our broader security practices.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain Google user data only as long as your Famvia account is active or as required by law. If you delete your Famvia account or request deletion of your data, we will remove the Google user data we have stored, subject to the same retention exceptions described in Section 6. We do not control how Google collects, uses, or shares your information on their end. We recommend you review Google's privacy policy at https://privacy.google.com for details on their practices.


6. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us to keep your personal information for longer than twelve (12) months past the termination of your account.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because it has been stored in backup archives), we will securely store it and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.


7. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.


8. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor's use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from users under 18 has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data. 9. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?

Withdrawing your consent

If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, you may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at hello@famvia.com. This will not affect the lawfulness of any processing before its withdrawal.

Opting out of marketing

You can unsubscribe from our marketing and promotional communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails, or by contacting us at hello@famvia.com. We may still send you service-related messages necessary for account administration.

Account Information

You can review or update your account information by logging in to your account settings, or by contacting us at hello@famvia.com. Upon request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases, though we may retain some information as necessary to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with investigations, enforce our legal terms, or comply with applicable legal requirements.

Most web browsers accept cookies by default. You can set your browser to remove or reject cookies, though this may affect certain features of the Services. You may also opt out of interest-based advertising on our Services.


10. DO UNITED STATES RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?

If you are a resident of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or Utah, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information, as described below.

We will use and retain the collected personal information as needed to provide the Services or for as long as the user has an account with us (Categories A, C, D, F, G, and L). Category L information may be disclosed to a service provider or contractor for additional specified purposes. We have not disclosed, sold, or shared any personal information to third parties for a business or commercial purpose in the preceding twelve (12) months. We will not sell or share personal information in the future belonging to website visitors, users, and other consumers.

California Residents

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 ("Shine The Light" law) permits California residents to request, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. To make such a request, please contact us using the information in Section 12.

If you are under 18, reside in California, and have a registered account, you have the right to request removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the Services. To request removal, contact us with the email address associated with your account and a statement that you reside in California. Please be aware that the data may not be completely removed from all our systems (e.g., backups).

CCPA Privacy Notice

This section applies only to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Under the CCPA, California residents have the following rights:

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf under the CCPA, though we may deny a request from an agent that does not submit proof of valid authorization. Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Virginia Residents

Residents of Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), and Virginia (VCDPA) have the following rights, though these rights are not absolute and we may decline a request as permitted by law:

We will inform you in writing of any action taken or not taken in response to the appeal within the following timeframes: forty-five (45) days for Colorado; sixty (60) days for Connecticut and Virginia. Utah residents whose appeal is denied may contact the Utah Division of Consumer Protection. Virginia residents whose appeal is denied may contact the Attorney General to submit a complaint.

If you are using an authorized agent to exercise your rights, we may deny the request if the agent does not submit proof of valid authorization. We may request additional information to verify your identity before processing your request.


11. DO WE MAKE UPDATES TO THIS NOTICE?

Yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date and will be effective as soon as it is accessible. If we make material changes, we may notify you by prominently posting a notice or by directly sending you a notification. We encourage you to review this privacy notice periodically.
