Orlando, Florida
The Best Theme Park Destination for Teens and Adults.
Universal Orlando is one of the best theme park resorts you can visit in the world. Period. If you have the slightest interest in roller coasters, Harry Potter or Nintendo, then you will have an amazing time here. Universal Orlando has grown a lot since Universal Studios opened in 1990. They have only learned with time and improved in every single area. Now they have not only Universal Studios, but one of the best theme parks ever in Islands of Adventure and also the massive new Epic Universe.
Universal Orlando isn’t just about mega-coasters, velociraptors, and Wingardium Leviosa, by the way. This is a huge entertainment complex that also has a water park, eleven hotels and a shopping district called Universal CityWalk. If you are in Orlando with your family, you need to come here. In fact, if you are in Orlando all alone, you should also come here. It’s that good.
Universal Orlando’s three theme parks are Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios and Epic Universe. Islands of Adventure often ranks among the best theme parks in the world and is home to amazing rides like VelociCoaster, Hagrid’s Motorbike Adventure and The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man. This is definitely a 10/10 theme park for adults and children.
Universal Studios, meanwhile, focuses on motion simulators and features Revenge of the Mummy, one of the most fun indoor roller coasters in the world and The Bourne Stuntacular, a highly advanced live-action stunt show that we recommend to almost everyone. We are pretty sure that Universal Studios will get major upcoming updates, and there are even rumors of a Pokémon expansion coming. Now that would be crazy.
Epic Universe made waves in 2025 as one of the top new destinations in the world, marking the first new Universal theme park since Islands of Adventure in 1999. Epic Universe is massive, with different lands including Super Nintendo World, Universal Monsters and How to Train Your Dragon. Super Nintendo World is even bigger than the one at Universal Hollywood, featuring a brand-new Donkey Kong area and the awesome Mine-Cart Madness family coaster. And yes, we at Famvia have guides specifically made for Epic Universe, with in-depth reviews for every single attraction you can find there.
Universal is also the closest you can get to Hogwarts, with all three theme parks featuring lands inspired by the Wizarding World. Each land is incredibly detailed, with places like Diagon Alley in Universal Studios and Hogsmeade in Islands of Adventure. You can come here to buy magic wands, Hogwarts robes and chocolate frogs. If you love the books and movies, Universal is a dream come true.
Universal is amazing, plain and simple. Our content includes guides on ride strategies, resorts, awesome events like Halloween Horror Nights and many reviews as well. Sit back, relax and let us help you plan the best vacation ever alongside Hermione, Yoshi and our good friend Toothless.
